Sometimes it is the small things you do that make a difference in your life! One of the changes that I have introduced since becoming an Independent Herbalife Distributor is to carry advertising on my car! I would never have thought of doing this before, but having been to an HOM (Herbalife Opportunity Meeting) and seeing so many cars with advertising on got me thinking about how to make it happen.
I saw a few ads on the internet about car advertising but found one of the most reasonably priced to be at Vistaprint. I ordered the magnetic adverts (which stick to a car but are not permanent) and then put them on my car. I was so nervous! People at work had a bit of fun at my expense, and one even took an advert off and replaced it upsidedown (thanks mate).
To a Soldier facing an enemy it is a normal part of life to show courage of the highest order. For a quiet man like me it takes courage to face the mocking of friends and colleagues. Bravery comes in many forms. Still, I have had the last laugh because three people at work have signed up for products after seeing the advert and asking what it’s all about. 10bob

Jumpy, no way!
It is amazing just how busy life has become for me since starting as an independent Herbalife distributor. Just by using simple (cheap or free) advertising I now get 2 or 3 texts a day asking about the weight loss program (www.slimthin.org/sample). Also I’m getting my first repeat orders from my earliest customers. Suddenly life is even busier than before!
I had thought that the Credit Crunch would have made the business situation very difficult, but that just isn’t the case. It seems that people are spending more on themselves (rather that going out for a meal, for example) and for me that’s just great!
The other bonus of the Credit Crunch is that people want to make some extra cash part-time from home, and of course this business opportunity is just the job for that (www.set4life.org). Its amazing just how much difference it can make to your life earning an extra £250 or so per month with just a few part-time hours per week.

I don’t want them to know about this development because they are muslims. With God all things are possible.

Ever since this blog started getting Google 1st page rankings I’ve been getting some really crazy messages that are complete gibberish! They come regular as clockwork, especially from google-group sites, advertising ‘medical products’ and they never get published, yet they keep coming. I contact abuse@google.com every time but they do not seem to have the power to regulate their own network. How lame is that! Still, I take it as read that every blog must have this sort of thing happen to it. So, if you have any good ideas for stopping this sort of rubbish arriving then please let me know! 10bob
Weight loss at Casa Bob

Wow - what a roller coaster ride. I liked the weight loss program I did at slimthin.org so much that I decided to do it as a part time job for myself using the information from the people at set4life.org . Talk about a culture shock! From a boring shift working job working all hours, I’m now talking to people all over the country about how much weight I’ve lost and how they could do the same!. It’s so exciting - and I’ve got to meet a lot of the people who live locally when I deliver their orders. I had never realised just how many people have concerns about their weight. I use Internet adverts, and some in local shops in the area, and one local paper - FridayAds (friday-ad.co.uk - I have no links with these advertisers but the response to my ad in there was amazing). I get at least 2 texts a day asking for more information. Then there’s all the follow up - and processing orders - and organising a business. I’ve just had to start a business account at my bank - let the inland revenue know that I’ve just started a part time business - and get an acountant. There’s so much happening that is new that at times I think my poor head can’t take any more in. And that’s on top of the shift work job! It’s like a whole new world I’ve never seen before has suddenly opened in front of my eyes. You get to help people and make money at the same time. Fantastic. 10bob

Shock therapy?

I thought I was ok with my weight. Yes, maybe the years have not been kind and the fleeting appearance of love handles didn’t cause me to worry too much, but generally I felt healthy and fit. Every now and then I would get back into jogging as and when my shift work would allow. Still the weight has crept up on me and until recently I was 14 stone 6 lbs. As I’m 6 ft 1 inches tall it didn’t really show, but I still did notice the difference. To cut a long story short I decided to try to lose some weight. I spent more time jogging, even after a long shift, and skipped the odd meal to try and cut down on food intake. That didn’t seem to work either. I tried looking on the web, but there are so many sites that I just gave up.
However, this story has a happy ending because a friend pointed me to a website he used called slimthin. I did the same as him and ordered the sample pack. In fact, I liked it so much that I took up the system they use, and I’m now only 13 stone 2 lbs after 5 weeks - so I’ve lost over a stone in 5 weeks and feel great. This site isn’t free , as the sample pack is £6.95 and the course meals cost about £10 a week, so I can’t list this as a free resource - but I’m well impressed by the weight I’ve lost, and how good I feel. There is a saying - sometimes you cannot see the wood for the trees. Well, that one just hit home! Let me tell you why.
I joined a lottery syndicate on the internet, called eLottery, because I keep forgetting to get a ticket each week with the shifts I do, but still want to play. You also get to play for FREE (you know I like internet freebies) if five other people join up after you.
They give you a home page all of your own so that people you know can play a free game to win a grand (1,000 GBP). I’ve looked on the site high and low to find the unique url of this webpage so I can let people play this free game , but could not see it anywhere!

Still married, but laughing about facebook . . .

Ah the wonders of my job! Time has passed so quickly in my first month as a supervisor. The job is going well too. So it came as a surprise when a bloke I work with, Steve, told me I wasn’t married any more! It surprised me even more when my own brother emailed me saying the same thing! This really is really quite untrue - I’m happily married and my wife is expecting our second child!
Seems my favourite FACEBOOK has me divorced without even asking me!
I read an article saying how much information people can get from social websites. As everyone who sees my info on these sites is a friend, I thought that it was silly to tell them what they already knew! So, I decided to remove all such things from my friends reunited, myspace, and facebook entries, and change the picture to that of a rock - a little joke for Steve as I was going to join his (facebook) rock band. Yes, a sad visual gag!
It seems that removing completely an entry section on facebook is the same as amending it, of course it is - how silly of me!
So, for the record, I am still very married! But I’ve had a laugh about it all. 10bob

Ok, as a newbie to the internet I find there is so much to learn! But, if business is your thing then there’s a great site here. The content is free and you can use it to create your own website content. Do you find it hard to write pages for your website? Well, the site author, Gabor Olah, does it for you for free - and as you know, I do like free! This is not a christian site as such, more a business site, but I’ve had great fun reading through all the free stuff that this site has to offer. 10bob
